Granite stone for cabinet top

Natural stones have been used for kitchen counters or countertops since ancient times. These days, the use of stones as cabinet stones has become a trend again. Granite is one of the hardest and strongest stones available, which makes it a great choice for countertops.

Granite is a hard and compacted igneous rock composed of quartz, fluxpate and mica. This stone is a great choice for any construction.

Granite properties for countertop:

1. Strength and hardness

Granite is naturally resistant to moisture, scratches and heat. A granite countertop can remain unchanged for decades. For example, if you take a hot pan out of the oven, you can place it directly on the table.

2. Sustainable selection

As a natural product, granite is inherently earth-friendly and stable. This stone has environmental features such as durable life cycle, ease of care and recycling. This product is cut in the factory and finally installed in the project and has minimal waste.

3. Porosity and cracks

Granites are porous and have cracks that cannot be seen with the naked eye. These pores and cracks are a good place for stains and bacteria to grow.

This area can be filled with epoxy resin to prevent staining, and if stains are created, it can be removed by polishing.

4. Weight of granite

How to store granite

Granite is very resistant to scratches and heat, but it must be taken care of to create stains, otherwise the stains will remain on it.

It is better to clean it every day with a damp cloth and disinfect it at least once a week with a solution of water and isopropyl alcohol in a ratio of half. Spray this solution and after 3 to 4 minutes, clean it with a towel.

Never use vinegar or ammonia to clean and disinfect the cabinet plate as it will react with the minerals in the stone over time and cause the plate to stain.
